Located right next to the inclusive preschool, the former two-family home offers plenty of open space and opportunities for the children to grow and develop. In addition to plenty of play areas, there are also quiet spots where children can take a short nap or take a brief break from playing.
A mixed-age family group with 15 children (ages 2 to 6) and a nursery group with 10 children under 3 years old.
Our Villa Kunterbunt is located in the former mayor’s villa and is situated on the edge of a residential neighborhood. As the name suggests, our Villa Kunterbunt offers plenty of opportunities for play and a spacious garden with lots of playground equipment for children to let off steam.

Preference given to children who already attend the Kastanienhof daycare center
At our daycare centers, we are committed to creating a safe and nurturing environment that supports children in their individual development. We follow the federal educational guidelines to ensure that the activities we offer are appropriate for the children’s ages and interests.
Emotional security and a consistent daily routine are key factors in providing children with the confidence they need to embark on small adventures.
The adjustment period at the daycare center is crucial for helping children transition smoothly away from their parents. We follow the Berlin adjustment model.
We make sure to incorporate daily outdoor play and a variety of activities into the children’s daily routine. Rest periods after lunch help them recharge their energy for new discoveries.
We strive to align with the child’s daily rhythm and complement it in a meaningful way. To this end, we also involve parents and guardians in a regular exchange of information.
The transition from nursery to preschool is an important issue for us. Thanks to our close proximity and close collaboration, the children have the opportunity to visit the “big” preschool even before the transition.
