Since August 2015, Kastanienhof Oldenburg has been a partner of the Local Alliance with a local focus on Oldenburg and Lensahn.
In order to improve the lives of people with dementia and their relatives, the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth has been funding local alliances for people with dementia throughout Germany in a model program since 2012.
By joining, we are putting the topic of dementia on the political and social agenda and offering concrete support and advice for relatives. Close cooperation with the Dementia Competence Center of the Alzheimer’s Association further strengthens our region.
