Start of parity work in the Oldenburg district
We have been a reliable partner in social matters for over 50 years : Our approximately 200 colleagues currently look after around 500 children and young people aged 0 to 18 in our facilities. We also promote various intergenerational offers – here the generations should meet again as a matter of course and help each other – just like in a family.
Our work focuses on social inclusion, i.e. enabling everyone to participate in social life: Everyone should live, work, live, sing or celebrate where everyone else does. For us, this also includes people with a migration background, poverty or other problems. In our work, we therefore strive to create a climate in which everyone feels comfortable and everyone is treated with respect.
We attach particular importance to good cooperation: children, parents and guardians can always expect professional competence, reliability, understanding and trust from us – with and without disabilities.
We are certain that together we can pave the way to an inclusive society.
At Kastanienhof Oldenburg, we treat all people with respect and without prejudice - regardless of their disability, religion, skin color, origin, education or gender orientation.
The child is the center of attention, just as it is. They have a right to individual personal development, education and upbringing and receive the help they need.
Holistic learning for all generations - this is our motto for comprehensive education, upbringing, advice and care for all generations.
Individual support is based on joint, well-coordinated
collaboration between various specialists with a wide range of expertise. We work in a preventative, resource-oriented manner and are keen to ensure that our work is sustainable and continues to develop.
As a family-supporting institution, we attach great importance to focusing on and supporting the interests and needs of children and parents.
You can therefore always rely on our offers and our support. Our staff are on hand to help parents and guardians with all questions and problems. We are happy to support them with our expertise and lend a helping hand.
