Since August 2015, the Kastanienhof Oldenburg has been a partner of the local alliance with the focus on Oldenburg and Lensahn.
In order to improve the lives of people with dementia and their relatives, the Bundesministerium für Familie, Senioren, Frauen und Jugend has promoted nationwide local alliances for people with dementia in a model program since 2012.
By joining, we are putting the topic of dementia on the political and social agenda and offering concrete help and advice for relatives. Close cooperation with the Alzheimer’s Society’s Dementia Competence Center continues to strengthen our region.
