2 day care groups with 5 children each
The care in our day care groups is an additional need-based offer for children from 0-3 years. It is designed for guardians who do not yet want daily care or need a shorter placement time.
Child day care is a reliable care offer in small groups in a family-like situation. There are many opportunities to play indoors and outdoors in our Town Hall Villa, as well as retreats and relaxation areas.
The care time can be chosen up to 5 hrs in the period from 7:30 am to 1:00 pm.

Registration for day care is done through the Kindergarten Kastanienhof. In addition, an application for support in child day care must be submitted to the district of Ostholstein.
One caregiver looks after up to 5 children at the same time. There are 2 day carers working in parallel in large and child-friendly rooms. Our general conditions, the pedagogical care and the age mix are similar to those of a family.
There is a cosy sitting area that invites children to look at picture books and snuggle up. A children's table and small chairs complement the furniture, e.g. for handicrafts and painting activities. An attractive outdoor area is available for the children to play outside.
There is a quiet zone in the room that can be used for resting, retreat and sleeping. Changing facilities are available in the room so that the day care worker does not have to leave it.
The care of the children is a reliable offer. The day care groups are integrated into the day care centre system, i.e. the staff members take part in service meetings and further training and the care of the children is also guaranteed in case of illness or holiday of the day care worker.
